Cave Hill does exist

The story of Cave Hill is set in the Carnarvon Ranges. Cave Hiil and Mt. Mooloolong that feature in the story both exist in the Ka Ka Mundi section of Carnarvon National Park. The dome  shaped Cave Hill overlooking Cave Creek Valley is a Precipice sandstone feature, sitting on top or earlier sandstone formations. The red turrets to the right in the photo are composed of a rugged conglomerate which has a much smaller distribution, and may indicate the location of a narrow stream valley in a past era.

The spire of Mt. Mooloolong is indeed spectacular. It like Cave Hill is a Precipice sandstone remnant. Another feature The Candlestick is a creation for the story. However two spires at the southern end of Arcadia Valley in Expedition National Park are called The Candlesticks.
